55 Gallon Drum Heaters

Multiple methods and techniques have been employed to heat 55 gallon drums and other industrial containers over the past 5 decades. Old methods involved wrapping a heated metal strip (called a band heater) around the outside of the container. Dangerous and ineffective, band heaters and immersion heaters are being replaced with a new method called GreenHeat Technology.

Powerblanket LLC has patented a heat spreading technology that delivers a barrier of uniform heat to temperature sensitive materials. Pictured below is a BH55-130 Powerblanket Drum Heater.
